Over the last few years, IRL has put significant effort into re-positioning itself to become more engaged with and better connected to the needs of industry.
This website is our shop-front to the world and particular emphasis has been put on re-designing it to assist the organisation in achieving these goals.
IRL is a diverse organisation involved in a wide spectrum of science and engineering R&D from developing carbohydrate-based ingredients for pharmaceutical development to automation and robotics and new forms of energy generation and distribution.
The website navigation has been designed to enable potential and existing customers, collaborators, and the public at large to easily access the information they are looking for. Based on feedback from the website for IRL’s $1 million R&D competition for New Zealand businesses, What’s Your Problem New Zealand?, this site divides our activities into two main categories: services and research. This separation enables quick access for the public, industry and scientists alike.
