This international journal for chemical science publishes research papers from all fields of chemical science, with a focus on multidisciplinary chemistry and emerging areas of research.
Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand (IPENZ)
The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) is the professional body which represents professional engineers from all disciplines in New Zealand.
Massey University Distinguished Young Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Awards honour alumni who have made outstanding contributions to Massey University, to their professions, their communities or the nation.
New Zealand Association of Scientists
Marsden Medal
This medal awarded for a lifetime of outstanding service to the cause or profession of science, in recognition of service rendered to the cause or profession of science in the widest connotation of the phrase.
Research Medal
This medal is awarded for outstanding fundamental or applied research in the physical, natural or social sciences published by a scientist under the age of 40, during the year of the award or the preceding three calendar years.
Shorland Medal
This medal is awarded in recognition of major and continued contribution to basic or applied research that has added significantly to scientific understanding or resulted in significant benefits to society.
New Zealand Order of Merit
The Order is awarded to those who in any field of endeavour, have rendered meritorious service to the Crown and the nation or who have become distinguished by their eminence, talents, contributions, or other merits.
New Zealand Antarctic Medal
This medal is awarded to those who have made notable contributions to the exploration and knowledge of Polar Regions and who, in doing so, had undergone the hazards and rigours imposed by the Polar environment to life and movement, whether by land, sea or air.
New Zealand Institute of Chemistry Fonterra Prize
In recognition of IRL's supercritical extraction work to create new technologies and products of benefit to New Zealand industry, particularly Fonterra and Nutrizeal.
New Zealand Institute of Management Young Executive of the Year Awards

New Zealand Institute of Physics Rutherford Trophy
The Rutherford Trophy was established in 1973 “stimulate the development and improvement of simple lecture and laboratory demonstrations”. The keynotes are simplicity and “the string and tape approach”. The trophy is so named because of Rutherford’s emphasis on simple and clear demonstrations.
New Zealand Mathematical Society Research Award
This annual award was instituted in 1990 to foster mathematical research in New Zealand and to recognise excellence in research carried out by New Zealand mathematicians

Cooper Medal
Physics and engineering award for best single account of original research, particularly benefitting New Zealand, awarded every two years.
Hector Medal
Science award for outstanding work in chemical, physical or mathematical and information sciences by a researcher in New Zealand, awarded annually, in rotation among the disciplines.
MacDiarmid Medal
Scientific research award for outstanding scientific research that demonstrates the potential for application to human benefit, awarded annually.
Pickering Medal
Technology award for excellence, awarded annually.
RJ Scott Medal
Engineering science and technology award for work of great merit by a research in New Zealand, awarded every two years.
Rutherford Medal (previously named the Science and Technology Medal)

Award for leadership and contribution to science in New Zealand, awarded annually.
