WelTec to stage Innovation and Technology Expo
The WelTec Campus at Petone will stage a one-day Innovation and Technology Expo on 20 August. The Expo is jointly hosted by WelTec, GNS Science, and IRL and will run from 9am to7pm at the WelTec Campus, 59 Cuba Street, Petone.
This Expo is an opportunity for people to get together and check out the innovative ideas and resulting technology coming from organisations in the Hutt Valley. It’s also a chance to see how WelTec uses its research and development expertise to help individuals and companies realise their full potential.
As well as an exciting line up of exhibitors including GNS Science, IRL, Boomrock Lodge, Fronde, Im-Able, Silicon Systems, Veranis Corporation, VX Sport and many more there is also a raft of seminars showcasing individual and organisational success stories.
As part of the Expo, IRL will give a presentation about its work on high temperature superconductors. New Zealand is a leader in this revolutionary technology, which is being developed for the medical, scientific, industrial, and electricity industries.
